UAAGI Center for Technical Excellence – Centralized expertise for all UAAGI brands

UAAGI Auto Group – a multi-brand distributor for BAIC, Chery, Foton, Jetour, Lynk & Co, and Radar in the Philippines – just unveiled the new UAAGI Center for Technical Excellence. It will be the new venue of all training they will have across all the brands, using actual units and machinery for a total hands-on and immersive lectures.

L-R: Levi Santos, Foton Motor Philippines, Inc. General Manager; Eryx Guiang, Jetour Auto Philippines, Inc. Aftersales Director; Lito Landicho, UAAGI Auto Group VP for Customer Service Division; Kenneth L. Sytin, UAAGI Auto Group Vice Chairman; Rommel L. Sytin, UAAGI Auto Group Chairman; Timothy Sytin, UAAGI Auto Group Executive Director; Lito Jose, Jetour Auto Philippines, Inc. Managing Director; Franz Decloedt, Brand Head for Chery Auto Philippines, Lynk & Co Philippines, and Radar EV Pickup Philippines

The 1,200sqm facility sits on a 2-hectare property at the corner of Valenzuela and North Luzon Expressway. It is complete with training rooms, service bays, and a separate EV service bay for learning New Energy Vehicles. This move not only streamlines the training, it also ensures the high-quality standard disseminated across multiple dealerships.

Up to 120 people can be trained here simultaneously through different specialized areas. From foundational diagnostics to high-level mastery, personnel can learn about Powertrain Systems, Advanced Electronics, Chassis and Brake Systems, as well as Advanced Hybrid and EV Systems. These are complemented with industry-grade hardware like vehicle lifters, brand-specific diagnostic tools, engine rigs, and specialized components, including a refrigerant recovery machine. There will also be a Certification Process for technicians, Service Advisers, and Parts Consultants. This is UAAGI’s way of guaranteeing that no matter what brand they carry you choose, in any dealership, you will have the same quality of service.

“The opening of this facility is a testament of UAAGI’s commitment to our business partners and our clientele. By investing in modern training and aftersales infrastructure, we are ensuring our personnel are equipped to uphold the highest service standards. Our goal remains clear: to provide every customer across our brands with the reliable, responsive support that defines the UAAGI ownership experience,” says UAAGI Chairman Rommel Sytin.

Along this training facility is UAAGI’s massive parts warehouse that has an inventory of almost a million individual spare parts. BAIC, Chery, Foton, Jetour, Lynk & Co, and Radar will all have a comprehensive stock pile of parts ranging from the basic PMS items to major parts like chassis, door panels, engine system parts, even those rare ones like a middle head rest.

This strategic distribution hub, along with the one in Clark, helps UAAGI achieve a world-class 94% fill rate on average. It makes them have as short as 24-hour turnaround time for Metro Manila and 3-days for Visayas and Mindanao regions. Even for specialized, non-stocked components, UAAGI promises a 25-day lead time giving owners minimal downtime and more time to enjoy their car with their family.

“This facility represents a paradigm shift in our service philosophy, moving beyond traditional training to a holistic development model. By unifying technical mastery, parts expertise, and premium customer handling, we are cultivating a more sophisticated workforce capable of anticipating the evolving needs of our clientele. This investment in our people ensures that every front-end interaction translates into a seamless, world-class ownership experience that mirrors the quality of the vehicles we distribute,” says UAAGI Aftersales Vice President Lito Landicho.
