Foton Motor Philippines placed the spotlight on the brand’s pure-electric technology with its EV Forward showcase held earlier this month at the Foton Philippines assembly plant in Clark Freeport, Pampanga.
The company, which celebrates its 18th year of operations in the Philippines and is currently ranked No. 3 in commercial vehicles sales, unveiled its extensive lineup of fully electric vehicles designed for transport and logistics, underscoring Foton’s goal of sustainable mobility.

Taking centerstage at the EV Forward event were a diverse mix of passenger models, light commercial trucks, as well as light- and heavy-duty trucks. Leading the electrified lineup was the spacious and luxurious 12-seater Foton Traveller Sierra EV van, the dependable Foton Harabas TM 300 EV and the Transvan HR Cargo EV vans, the highly capable Foton Tornado 3.6 EV light-duty truck, and the Foton EST 6×4 Tractor Head EV heavy-duty truck.

“Foton stands at the forefront of sustainable transport solutions and is a leading proponent of full Electric Vehicle (EV) solutions for both businesses and communities. Our vision is clear: to provide mobility that not only drives productivity but also protects the environment, reduces fuel costs, and minimizes maintenance expenses—empowering enterprises to achieve greater operational efficiency while contributing to a cleaner, greener future,” said Levy Santos, General Manager of Foton Motor Philippines Inc. (FMPI), in his speech during the event.
The various electric trucks boast impressive driving ranges: 303 kms for the Traveller Sierra EV, 220 kms for the Harabas TM300 EV, 195 kms for the Transvan HR Cargo EV, 208 kms for the Tornado 3.6 EV, and 200 kms for the EST 6×4 Tractor Head EV.

Direct current (DC) charging times are ideal for fleet logistics operations: as fast as 30 minutes for the 101hp/220Nm Harabas TM300 EV and 60 minutes for the 154hp/300Nm Tornado 3.6 EV, with the longest charging time being a still-quick 100 minutes for the humungous 484hp/2,200Nm EST 6×4 Tractor head EV, which boasts a whopping 45,000-kg towing capacity.

Before the product showcase presentation, Clark Development Corporation President and CEO Atty. Agnes VST Devanadera shared that “in every economic activity, you need mobility,” emphasizing the important role of clean energy and sustainable transport in driving economic growth. She also disclosed plans to install more EV charging stations throughout the ecozone to help encourage the shift to electric vehicles.
“Today, we offer a glimpse into the future of transport logistics—one that is cleaner, smarter, and more sustainable. But Foton’s commitment doesn’t stop at delivering electric vehicles. We are dedicated to providing a complete ecosystem designed to support your operations with integrated future-ready solutions,” said FMPI Sales Deputy Director Joshua Sytin.
The EV Forward event brought together key figures from both public and private sectors, from FMPI management including General Manager Levy Santos, AVP for Heavy Business Division Chris Sta. Maria, Sales Manager Ivan Miel Alquiroz, and Sales Deputy Director Joshua Sytin; Clark Development Corporation executives including President and CEO Atty. Agnes Devanadera, VP for Business Development Atty. Noelle Mina Meneses, AVP for Business Enhancement Rodem Perez, and AVP for Administration Atty. Bonifacio Tarenio; Department of Energy’s EV Industry Management Division head Andy Ulgado, and EV Association of the Philippines President Rommel Juan.
Foton’s “EV Forward” event sends a clear message: the future of logistics and mobility in the Philippines is electric. With reliable EV models backed by robust after-sales support and a growing infrastructure, FMPI paves the way for widespread adoption of eco-friendly transport solutions—one that blends technological innovation, sustainability, and industry cooperation.
