Hyundai Trucks and Buses Philippines After-Sales Convention Empowers Biyaheroes

In today’s fast-paced economy, commercial vehicles are more than machines—they are the engines of national progress. From delivering goods to transporting people across the archipelago, these workhorses drive Philippine development. Behind each roadworthy vehicle is a dedicated after-sales professional—a BiyaHero—keeping the nation in motion.

To honor these modern-day heroes, Hariphil Asia Resources Inc., the official distributor of Hyundai Trucks and Buses (HTB) Philippines, held its Warranty & Technical Convention, at the Auto Resources Center (ARC) in Calamba City, Laguna. The event brought together 19 after-sales professionals from 13 dealerships for a full day of technical training, pushing HTB’s commitment to reliable mobility as a foundation of nation-building.

Representatives from HTB Alabang Muntinlupa, Baliwag Bulacan, Cabanatuan City, Calamba Laguna, Cainta Rizal, Clark Pampanga, Commonwealth Avenue, Naga City, Santiago City, Cebu, Palawan and Davao came together as part of HTB’s service network.

For HARI, service is not just a function—it’s a purpose, and every technician is more than a worker—they are Biyaheroes, driving the country forward.  They play a crucial role in supporting Biyahenyos, the hardworking Filipinos who rely on HTB vehicles for their livelihood. The convention underscored the belief that quality after-sales service is more than good business—it’s essential to building a stronger, more mobile society.

To empower them, the program focused on updated warranty policies, technical protocols, and diagnostic procedures. More than a workshop, it was a platform to develop a national team of service professionals who are not only technically equipped but deeply committed to the communities they serve.

Just last month, HARI mounted its National Skill Olympics for commercial vehicles—an internal competition designed to recognize and celebrate the expertise of the country’s top service technicians. More than just a contest, the event reinforced HARI’s commitment to continuous learning, encouraging service professionals across its nationwide network to elevate their technical capabilities and explore innovative ways to enhance the After-Sales customer journey.

Combining in-depth theoretical tests with hands-on practical challenges, the Skill Olympics served as a powerful showcase of the brand’s comprehensive training program, state-of-the-art facilities, and operational excellence. It underscored HARI’s ability to execute large-scale, meaningful events that push industry standards forward while investing in the people who drive its service promise.

“We must continuously raise the level of skills, to serve the customer from their point of view, and communicate thoroughly to deliver faster, more accurate service,” said Ms. Maria Fe Perez-Agudo, Vice Chairman, President, and CEO of HARI.

“At HARI, we train our after-sales teams in ways best suited to each region. Our goal is to build a nationwide force of service professionals who contribute to a safer, more secure mobile society—fulfilling our part in the greater mission of nation-building.”
