Toyota’s not letting off the throttle: The racing continues at the TGR Philippines ESports GT Championship 2025

Toyota Motor Philippines has officially announced the beginning of their sim-racing competition – the TGR Philippines ESports GT Championship. Now on its 6th season, it aims to discover talent in the local scene and give them a chance to race against the best in the country and the world.

The race will be done on Gran Turismo and qualifiers will be held until September 14, 2025. It will be available both online and in select Toyota GR Dealerships. The National Finals will be held at Ayala Malls Manila Bay on October 11 and 12, 2025. Cash prizes, Toyota GR merchandise will be up for grabs.

Winning in the local cup opens a lot of possibilities. Top winners will have the chance to race in the Asia finals, while some will graduate and move on to race real cars.

Last year, Russel Reyes was able to win the Novice Class and finished as a runner-up in this year’s Super Sporting Class. Meanwhile, Luis Moreno, who also represented the country in the Asia finals before, became the Novice Class champion at this year’s TGR Philippine Cup that just concluded this past weekend.

The full details for this year’s GT Championship are available in the registration form. Interested participants may register at this link: https://forms.office.com/r/rqhiXM2Bef
