The Philippine auto industry reports that first half 2025 new car sales are up 16.5 percent. According to a joint report from the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines (CAMPI) and the Truck Manufacturers Association (TMA), January to June 2025 sales hit 230,912 units, compared to 198,179 units in the same period in 2024. While aggressive sales promotions did play a part, so did the number of new vehicles launched for the first six months of 2025.
Recapping every new vehicle—all-new and updated—here’s a rundown of every new car launched from January to June 2025.
January
Toyota Corolla Altis GR Sport

Toyota starts 2025 with an update to the top-of-the-line Corolla Altis GR Sport range. Both hybrid and non-hybrid versions receive retuned electric power steering system and specific springs, shocks, and stabilizer bar tuning. Meanwhile, the hybrid swaps out its nickel-metal hydride battery for a lithium-ion one. Together with an increased battery size, it further improves on the Corolla Altis’ impressive fuel efficiency. Aesthetically, it receives a GR Yaris-inspired exterior design, while inside it’s been sportified with new GR-branded seating and red seat belts. This is on top of new digital gauges, dual zone climate control, and a larger infotainment screen.
Suzuki Jimny 5DR Rhino Edition

After offering it on the Jimny 3DR, Suzuki Auto Philippines gives the Jimny 5DR its very own Rhino Edition transformation. The Jimny 5DR Rhino Edition boasts of a front bumper under garnish, side under garnish, black mud flaps for the front; black mud flaps with the Suzuki logo, a soft Rhino spare tire cover, Rhino emblem sticker on the rear door, and Rhino Edition body decals for the rear. To further its unique appeal, it comes only in two color options.
Porsche Taycan

Porsche ushered in its electromobility ambitions with the Taycan, so it’s only fitting that they stay ahead of the curve with the updated Taycan. Now featuring increased outputs—952 horsepower and 1,110 Nm of torque—it accelerates from 0 to 100 kph in a supercar-like 2.4 seconds. It also gets refreshed styling inside and out, while gaining enhanced smartphone integration and faster charging times.
Tesla Model Y

Dubbed, “Juniper,” the updated Tesla Model Y drops into the market with a look inspired by the brand’s Cybertruck. The interior receives significant updates that enhances comfort and efficiency. Naturally, it gets a boost in terms of features such as ambient lighting, ventilated front seats, and even a second-row display screen. It comes in both rear- and all-wheel drive versions with 19-inch wheels being the rolling stock.
BYD Seal Advanced

A new variant in the Seal sports sedan range, the Seal Advanced drops its front electric motor in favor of a purely rear-wheel (and rear-mounted motor) setup. It rides on smaller wheels and makes do without ventilated seats, but it gives up little versus the top-of-the-line Seal Performance which has been retained.
BYD Atto 3

The best-selling EV SUV in the country, the Atto 3 comes with a longer list of standard features for 2025 including a larger infotainment screen, power tailgate, and ambient interior lighting. It’s also been aesthetically updated thanks to a new BYD logo at the tailgate, a gloss black pillar/window trim, and meatier tires.
Audi Q7 and Q8


Marking the start of Audi’s 20th anniversary in the Philippine, the Audi Q7 and Q8 both offer new, striking looks along with a more extensive list of premium features. Both these flagship SUVs now receive an electrified turbocharged V6 engine as well as adaptive air suspension. They also carry the brand’s latest design language as well as the newest Audi virtual cockpit and MMI system.
Honda HR-V

Since the HR-V nameplate’s re-introduction in 2025, it has sold over 10,216 units already. Keen to build on those solid numbers, the new HR-V comes with revised powertrain options, including its first-ever two-motor hybrid option. Visually, Honda’s compact crossover also gets a revised exterior and an improved interior with better smartphone support and advanced telematics.
BMW X5 PHEV

With the expansion of the exemption of import duties to cover hybrids, BMW Philippines adds a third powertrain option locally in the form of a plug-in hybrid for its X5. Electrifying BMW’s renowned “B58” inline-6 produces a best-of-both worlds performance while also giving up to 118 kilometers of all-electric range. The X5 also gets a huge bump in standard creature comfort features, including an adaptive air suspension.
GAC GS3 Emzoom Black Edition

The Philippines becomes the first market in the world to receive an all-black version of the GS3 Emzoom R-Style Black Edition. It’s a response to customers who’ve been clamoring for an all-black edition of the compact crossover. The new exterior color aside, inside, it comes with a black and blue interior color scheme to match. And like other Emzoom R-Style variants, the GS3 Emzoom R-Style Black Edition comes fitted with the center-mounted dual exhaust pipes, light dart taillights, and bold orange accents.
Toyota GR Supra

Sportscar enthusiasts rejoice: Toyota Motor Philippines brings in the updated “A91” GR Supra. The sportscar sees a huge power bump from its turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-6, along with the availability of a 6-speed manual to go with the 8-speed automatic. Apart from the new engine, it gets a retuned chassis as well. It adds lightweight aluminum braces that tie the strut towers to the radiator support to increase lateral rigidity, along with front and rear bump stops and new damper tuning. The steering, suspension, stability control, and active differential were all retuned as well to make it stable through quick transitions.

Kia Sorento Turbo Hybrid

Kia Philippines makes a bold decision and drops all other powertrains for the Sorento mid-sized SUV for an electrified and turbocharged engine. The strong hybrid engine also unlocks a collective set of handling tech that cleverly uses the electric motor to improve ride and stability. Outside, it gets Kia’s newest design language, while inside, it receives a more premium look and feel. The standard specs have been increased as well.
MINI Aceman

Positioned between the Cooper and the Countryman, the Aceman is small on the outside, but big on the inside. Powered by a single electric motor, it offers a 7.1-second 0 to 100 kph sprint. Its sizeable battery offers 407 kilometers of range between charges. The 5-door Aceman also condenses Mini’s key classic styling that’s centered on purity in design.
MINI Cooper 5DR

After launching the 3DR last year, Mini brings in the “practical” 5-door version. Like the Cooper 3-door, the Cooper 5-door carries the iconic design elements all around, but because it’s designed to be more practical, it has to accommodate three people in the backseat, and the cargo hold can grow up to 925 liters in space. Powering it is a turbocharged 2.0-liter mated to a 7-speed dual clutch automatic.
Geely Emgrand

Under Geely Motor Philippines, a newly formed subsidiary with direct ties to Geely Auto Group, the Emgrand gets a new, more powerful engine. Together with the new powertrain, it’s been upgraded with a larger infotainment screen and updated creature comfort features. The controversial gray/blue nautical-inspired interior being dropped in favor of an all-black one across the line-up.
Geely EX5

The fully-electric EX5 marks the globalization of Geely’s GEA platform. The bespoke EV platform offers a class-above space, despite an exterior footprint that puts it squarely in the compact SUV class. The exterior design emphasizes aerodynamic efficiency, while underneath, there’s a cutting-edge EV powertrain including Geely’s very own Short Blade Battery. The EX5 also happens to debut Geely’s latest electrical and electronics architecture.
Ferrari 12Cilindri

Inspired by Ferrari’s legendary grand tourers of the 1950s and 60s, the 12Cilindri is the newest mid-front-engined Ferrari V12 that combines performance with elegance and design. Packing the Prancing Horse’s legendary 6.5-liter V12. This gives it a 0 to 100 km/h time of 2.9 seconds, 0 to 200 km/h in less than 7.9 seconds, and a top speed of 340 km/h. The silhouette is decidedly more sci-fi in appearance, but remains clean thanks to underbody aerodynamic solutions. Inside, the Ferrari 12Cilindri continues with the brand’s dual cockpit architecture. The driver benefits from Ferrari’s newest HMI interface with a central 10.25-inch touchscreen, a 15.6-inch driver display, and an 8.8-inch “co-pilot” display.
BMW 520i Essential

As its name suggests, the BMW 520i Essential offers the essential luxury amenities and features with a more attainable price tag. It comes with features such as quilted leather seats, four-zone climate control, and a Harman Kardon sound system. It’s powered by an electrified 2.0-liter TwinPower Turbo motor delivering 208 horsepower and 330 Nm of torque.
Audi Q6 e-tron

Setting the standard in both range and efficiency, the Audi Q6 e-tron competes in the premium mid-sized SUV segment, complementing Audi Philippines’ all-electric range. The Premium Platform Electric offers a large battery enough for a 641-kilometer range between charges. Cleverly, the 800-volt system can switch over to “bank charging,” essentially splitting the battery into two 400-volt parts, allowing for faster charging times. The Audi e-tron design language paves the way for an interior where technology and traditional luxury accoutrements come together to form the so-called Digital Stage.
Mazda MX-5 35th Anniversary Edition

Limited to just 15 units in the country, the Mazda MX-5 35th Anniversary Edition commemorates more than three decades of the iconic lightweight sportscar from Mazda. The unmistakably sport silhouette comes with unique upscale touches, including the use of Artisan Red Premium Metallic for the first time on the MX-5. It also features tan Nappa leather upholstery as well.
Toyota Tamaraw SWB

The next-generation Tamaraw now comes in a short wheelbase form to complement the long wheelbase version that first came out in 2024. Powering this a 2.0-liter gasoline engine mated to a 5-speed manual. The short wheelbase Tamaraw may be smaller, but it still offers a bed length of 2,312 mm and a bed width of 1,711 mm. Payload goes up to 1,080 kilograms too.
RAM 1500 Rebel

The Ram 1500 Rebel brings capability, versatility, with new luxury and cutting-edge tech features. The revamped aesthetics and all-terrain capability is now backed up by a new 420-horsepower 3.0-liter twin turbo inline-6 engine. Inside, it offers a truly luxurious experience for all with vented seats, a 19-speaker sound system, and even dual wireless device chargers. It also sports Ram’s latest active and passive safety features, including an advanced driver assist system.

Toyota GR Yaris

The bolder, upgraded GR Yaris arrives. Chief improvements come courtesy of an uprated turbocharged motor which now produces 280 horsepower and 390 Nm of torque. It also gains the choice between a 6-speed manual and a new 8-speed direct shift automatic. Communicating these changes, the new GR Yaris receives a more aggressive styling with larger openings for optimized cooling. Inside, the cockpit emphasizes usability with the center console now tilted towards the driver. This is on top of a new full-color digital gauge cluster and a new display audio system.
BYD Shark 6 DMO

Designed from the ground up as an electrified pickup truck, the BYD Shark uses the carmaker’s Dual Mode Off-road platform. Although it retains the same ladder-on-frame setup as a traditional pickup truck, the use of Cell-to-Chassis (CTC) construction provides unparalleled torsional strength and rigidity. Powering it is a dual motor setup with 435 horsepower and 650 Nm of torque making it the most powerful offering it its segment. As a hybrid, this pickup truck does about 800 kilometers between fill ups (up to 1,114 kilometers in BYD Cars Philippines’ local test).
Lexus LX 700h

Lexus Philippines brings in the hybrid LX 700h, while also dropping the combustion engine-only LX 600. Compared to the series-parallel setup found in other Lexus models, the decision to switch over to a purely parallel setup is down to the LX’s required off-road gear and credentials. Despite its move to electrification, it packs a full-time 4WD, low-speed transfer case, and of course, a 10-speed torque converter automatic. And even if the hybrid system fails, the engine can still start and operate thanks to its conventional starter, alternator, and 12-volt battery. Even the LX’s electronics, including its active height control can be operated. The combined output is rated at 457 horsepower and 790 Nm of torque.
Kia Carnival HEV SX+

A new entry-level version of the Carnival HEV joins the line-up, further expanding Kia’s electrified line-up. While this new trim, the HEV SX+, does lose some luxury features along the way like the dual pane sunroof, rain-sensing wipers, and ventilated seats, it keeps the same turbocharged and electrified 1.6-liter producing a combined 245 horsepower and 367 Nm of torque. Best of all? It’s priced the same as the Carnival Diesel.
Lotus Emira

Lotus has announced the arrival of the expanded Emira line-up in the Philippines. While would-be customers can still get the supercharged V6, a turbocharged 4-cylinder is now available as well. Regardless of powerplant, the Emira builds on its striking design and thrilling dynamic performance that delivers a unique blend of ride and handling as well as outstanding aerodynamics.
Jetour X70 Lightning i-DM

Jetour Auto Philippines brings in its second plug-in hybrid, the three-row X70 Lightning i-DM. While it shares the X70’s turbocharged 1.5-liter 4-cylinder engine, because it packs dual electric motors, outputs rise to 271 horsepower and 395 Nm of torque, enough for a 0 to 100 km/h time of 7.7 seconds. Moreover, thanks to a 19.34-kWh lithium-ion battery, it has a 110-kilometer all-electric range. Together with a full tank of gas, it goes up to 1,200 kilometers. As a full-featured mid-sized SUV, it has a pair of 10.25-inch displays, a dual zone climate control with a 9-inch touchscreen display, a Sony 8-speaker sound system, and a full set of ADAS features.
Nissan Patrol

Marking a new chapter in its more than 70-year history, the all-new Nissan Patrol is all about legacy, innovation, and luxury. Its distinctive boxy silhouette gives it a powerful presence with an interior to match. It wouldn’t be a Patrol without performance and for the “Y63,” out goes the V8 and in its place is the most powerful engine ever fitted to the name plate. The twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 produces 431 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque. This is then mated to a 9-speed automatic with steering wheel-mounted shifter paddles and an intelligent 4WD system with two-speed transfer case (Auto, 4H, 4L). Together with the engine, the all-new Patrol gets a first-in-its-class Adaptive Air Suspension. This allows it to raise or drop its ride height making for easier entry or exit, or even improved off-roading and flood crossing capability. Also, e-dampers at all four corners help give it a wonderful, magic carpet ride.

Isuzu mu-X

The new mu-X offers heightened levels of features that are designed to meet the evolving needs of Filipino drivers. The exterior is inspired by fighter jet design with its new front grille, redesigned bumpers, and 20-inch turbine wheels. Inside, it’s all about refinement with a new steering wheel and infotainment system. An improved chassis and ADAS functionality, including a new 360-degree camera with a built-in dash cam, complete the changes.
Lynk & Co 02 E-SUV

Lynk & Co Philippines expands its electrified line-up with its first-ever battery electric offering: the 02. Riding on the Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA), 02 E SUV accommodates a 66-kWh battery for a 435-kilometer range. The rear-mounted, rear-wheel drive motor also offers 272 horsepower, enough for a speedy 5.5-second 0 to 100 kph sprint. The 02 also carries Lynk & Co’s unique sense of style with the “Dynamic Day Rays” DRLs, “Megacity Horizon” taillights, and “Infinity Light” interior ambient lighting.
Suzuki Dzire

The all-new Dzire is the latest Suzuki model to get electrified. The Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki or SHVS system enables energy-saving features like auto start-stop and electric motor assist. Outside, it features a more refined exterior, while the spacious cabin has a driver-centric layout with equipment including a touchscreen infotainment screen, rear AC vents, and a center arm rest. It has also earned a 5-star Global NCAP safety rating offering peace of mind on any drive.
Hyundai Elantra

After launching the Elantra N last year, Hyundai has brought back the Elantra nameplate to the Philippines. Now available with a variety of powertrains at a wide price band, it marks the return of one of the brand’s most iconic nameplates. The Elantra comes with three 1.6-liter engines—a normally-aspirated, electrified, and turbocharged options. Regardless, it sports a sleek and sharp-looking exterior with a driver-centric interior.
Jetour T2 Lightning i-DM

As Jetour’s third plug-in hybrid model in the Philippines, the T2 Lightning i-DM brings an electrified powertrain to the well-received adventure-ready design of the T2 SUV. The dual electric motors alone offer a combined 225 horsepower and 390 Nm of torque. Supplemented by a turbocharged 1.5-liter generator, it can go more than a thousand kilometers thanks to its 26.7-kWh battery. Its tech-first cabin is powered by an advanced chipset allowing it to gain advanced functionalities in both comfort and safety.
BYD eMAX 7

BYD Cars Philippines is entering yet another hotly-contested segment: MPVs. Their entry, the BYD eMax 7 (stylized as eMAX 7), combines all-electric mobility with seating across three rows. Exterior-wise, the eMax 7 is imbued with the Dragon Face front-end design with features that include LED headlights, 17-inch alloy wheels, a panoramic moonroof, and a power tailgate. Underneath, the eMax 7 rides on the BYD 3.0 e-Platform with a front-mounted, front-wheel drive permanent synchronous electric motor offering 204 horsepower, 310 Nm of torque, and a range of up to 530 kilometers.
VinFast VF 6

One of the newest offerings from Vietnam’s homegrown automaker, the VF 6 features a design done in collaboration with Italy’s Torino Design. It sports a balanced design evoking human connection and technology. The long 2,730 mm wheelbase helps sandwich a 59.6-kWh lithium-ion battery underneath. What’s more, it frees up a wealth of cabin space backed up by technology such as a 12.9-inch infotainment screen, dual zone climate control, rain-sensing wipers, 8-way power driver’s seat, and more.
Chery Tiggo Cross

The Tiggo Cross is Chery’s new small SUV powered by fuel-efficient 1.5-liter 4-cylinder paired with a 9-speed CVT. Inside, the Tiggo Cross boasts sporty bucket seats and a dual 10.25-inch multi-information and infotainment display. It also has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.
Chery Tiggo Grand Tour

The Tiggo Grand Tour is Chery’s new 7-seater MPV. Unlike traditional MPVs, however, its ample ground clearance, it can also be built for adventures. With smart features, full-flat foldable 2nd and 3rd row seats, it could be everything your family needs. It features a 1.5 turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, paired with a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission. The Tiggo Grand Tour is equipped with a 10.25-inch HD infotainment system, and a 7-inch instrument cluster, complete with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Chery Tiggo ReV C-DM

For those who want something electrified, there’s the Tiggo ReV C-DM. This one’s a 7-seater electrified SUV that’s thoughtfully designed and packed with advanced features, exceptional performance, and a generous space. It has the powerful Chery Dual Motor or C-DM technology. The powertrain starts out with a 1.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine and a dedicated hybrid transmission that can cover an impressive 1,400 kilometers of driving range in both hybrid and EV modes. The vehicle is also powered by an impressive 18.66-kWh battery, ensuring an enjoyable, long journeys with confidence. Aito M9

Born out of a collaboration between carmaker Seres and technology leader Huawei, Aito or “Adding Intelligence to Auto” brings in their flagship M9. Using the versatile Aito MF Platform, it comes in both pure electric and range-extended electric versions. The stately design brings forth impressive levels of luxury and comfort features including a 25-speaker surround sound system, built-in fragrance system, and an intelligent cockpit system developed by, of course, Huawei.
BAIC B40 Pro TrailMaster

The BAIC B40 Pro TrailMaster sports a rugged style that embodies an adventurous spirit and genuine off-road capability. Powered by a 2.0-liter Aucan turbo diesel engine and BorgWarner part-time four-wheel drive system, the B40 Pro Trail Master has a multitude of driving modes, front and rear locking differentials, a special Wading Induction System that helps keep water from entering the air intake, Crawl Control, and Off-Road Turn Assist.
BAIC B60 Beaumont REV

The BAIC B60e Beaumont REV showcases all the latest BAIC technologies in a large SUV body with confident all-terrain ground clearance. It boasts of a Dual Motor Intelligent Full-Time Four-Wheel Drive system with front and rear motors for a combined power output of 540 horsepower and 655 Nm of torque. It also has single pedal driving mode and a range of up to 1,200 kilometers. First-class comfort is assured by the power adjustable front seats with aircraft-style headrests, heating, cooling, massage, and memory functions and a 13-speaker Infinity sound system with active noise canceling.
BMW X3

A new chapter begins for BMW’s best-selling model, globally. The all-new X3 sets the bar in the premium mid-sized segment with a focus on proportions. Upfront, the large, upright BMW kidney grille has vertical and diagonally-arranged bars, and yes, it lights up thanks to the BMW Iconic Glow. Inside, the X3 features M Veganza and Alcantara black upholstery as well as Fine-Brushed Aluminum trim. Joining the local BMW Plug-In Hybrid line-up, the all-new X3 delivers impressive performance. First up, you get a 2.0-liter TwinPower Turbo petrol engine joined to an electric motor. Outputs? 299 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque. And thanks to sizeable 19.7-kWh lithium-ion battery, the X3 can go up to 90 kilometers without consuming a single drop of gas.
Mazda BT-50

Going beyond the spec to deliver a pickup truck that enables its owners to live their passions, the Mazda BT-50 is ready for adventures, big or small, routine or extraordinary. The BT-50 sports a bolder exterior all around, while inside, it receives an update infotainment system. The standard 3.0-liter turbodiesel motor—available in both 4×4 and 4×2 variants—offers usable everyday performance along with impressive figures such as 800 mm water wading, 1-ton payload, and 3.5-ton towing capacity.

Ford Ranger and Everest Special Edition


Ford Philippines bolsters its line-up with two new variants of its Ranger and Everest. Both models receive cosmetic enhancements, while retaining their value-for-money pricing and features. Available in both 4×2 and 4×4 variants (with an automatic transmission), the Ranger Sport Special Edition comes with a long leg sports bar that extends from the cab toward the rear. This adds protective support when hauling heavy or uneven cargo. Inside, retractable cup holders are now integrated into the instrument panel. Meanwhile, the Everest Sport Special Edition (available solely in 4×2), adds a black roof and spoiler (decal wrapped), 20-inch black alloy wheels with red accent, and “EVEREST” lettering on the hood.
Mercedes-Benz GLC

As one of the brand’s well-loved SUV models, the GLC 350e PHEV now enters a new era of electrification. Carrying the “Avantgarde” package, it has a sporty exterior also dotted with chrome (including the roof rails). Inside, the GLC 350e comes with Artico man-made leather seats, a 11.9-inch MBUX portrait screen, and a 15-speaker Burmester Surround Sound system. The GLC 350e PHEV mates a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine with an electric motor for a combined 313 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque.
Mercedes-Benz E-Class

The E-Class Plug-In Hybrid marks the return of the mid-sized sedan in Mercedes-Benz Philippines’ line-up. Arriving with the Exclusive exterior package, the E 350e comes with a radiator shell decorated by a central Mercedes star and pattern with trim elements in chrome. The same spattering of chrome is found in the front and rear bumpers, window trim, as well as air inlets and decorative tailpipe trims. Inside, the E 350e gains the MBUX Superscreen—the immersive display concept that digitalizes luxury. The E 350e PHEV features a electrified and turbocharged 2.0-liter that makes a combined output of 313 horsepower and 550 Nm. With a 19.53-kWh usable battery, the all-electric range is pegged at more than 100 kilometers.
Range Rover Sport SV P635 Edition II

The most expensive Range Rover currently on sale, the Range Rover Sport SV P635 Edition II sets you back Ferrari money for ultra-exclusivity (only one made it to the Philippines). Built around performance, it comes with a twin-turbo V8 that generates 635 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque. This helps drop the 0 to 100 kph time to 3.8 seconds—just as quick as a Ferrari sportscar. Top speed? 290 km/h.
Land Rover Defender Octa

Land Rover Philippines has finally revealed the toughest, most capable Defender yet: the Defender Octa. The name, Octa, is derived from the toughest and most desirable mineral on earth—a diamond—and the octahedral shape that gives their distinctive appearance and durability. The Defender Octa features the largest tires ever fitted into a production Defender. It also sports an off-road optimized front bodywork and unique grilles allowing for better airflow into the engine bay. It has tough underbody protection. It’s powered by a 4.4-liter twin-turbo mild-hybrid V8 engine mated to an 8-speed automatic with high and low range gears. This makes it the most powerful Defender ever with 635 horsepower and up to 750 Nm of torque.
Ford Ranger XL+ 4×4

Ford is launching yet another new Ranger variant: the Ranger XL+. The 11th variant of the Ranger, it upgrades and adds functional features to the base Ranger XL 4×4. The Ranger XL+ adds features which owners had to previously install themselves such as a bed liner, step boards, and retractable cup holders. Like the Ranger XL, it gets a 2.0-liter turbodiesel engine, a 4×4 drivetrain, and a 6-speed manual transmission.
Zeekr 009

Zeekr, the global luxury new energy vehicle brand, brings in the Zeekr 009—an all-electric EV that reinforces Zeekr’s bold ambition to lead the luxury EV segment in the Philippines. With 777 horsepower and 810 Nm of torque, it prides itself as a world’s fastest accelerating luxury MPV (0 to 100 kph in just 3.9 seconds). Packing a 108-kWh ternary lithium-ion battery, it provides up to 702 kilometers of range. Inside, the 009 offers a first-class cabin experience with “Sofaro First-Class Airline Seats” with built-in massagers and a special “Eames-inspired Lounge Mode.” This is on top of a foldable table and Nappa leather upholstery.
Hyundai Creta

Hyundai Motor Philippines unveils a sportier, bolder Creta which now includes an N Line variant for the very first time. Now embodying the automaker’s “Sensuous Sportiness” design, the new Creta has been heavily redesigned. Inside, the comfortable and generous cabin has its tech leveled up. And following the introduction of the N Line moniker in the Elantra, the Creta N Line packs a turbocharged 1.5-liter for a more engaging drive.

Mitsubishi Mirage G4

Mitsubishi Motors Philippines launches the new Mirage G4. Still proudly made in the Philippines, the 2026 Mirage G4 receives new LED projector headlamps, LED taillights, and two-tone 15-inch alloy wheels. Inside, it has upped its convenience features with features such as Keyless Operation System (KOS), a Remote Key with Trunk Opener, automatic climate control, and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system that also doubles as a back-up monitor. The most important update is what you don’t see. For 2026, Mitsubishi has improved the safety performance of the Mirage G4 by adding standard Active Stability Control (ASC) with Hill Start Assist (HAS) for all variants.
JMEV EV2 & EV3


Astra Philippines has now entered the battery electric vehicle (BEV) game through its JMEV brand. A part of Jiangling Motors Corporation, it broadens JMC’s offerings outside of pickup trucks. Headquartered in Nanchang, China, JMEV (Jiangxi Jiangling Group New Energy Vehicle Co., Ltd) enters the market with the EV2 and EV3. The JMEV EV2 is powered by a modest 35 horsepower (26 kW), 84 Nm electric motor. Yet, it’s still capable of reaching speeds up to 105 km/h. The 15.86 kWh LFP battery, meanwhile, provides a, as its name suggests, 201-kilometer range. On the other hand, the EV3 offers a more spacious and advanced (by comparison) driving experience. The single electric motor outputs 68 horsepower (50 kW) and 125 Nm of torque. Top speed is rated at 115 km/h. Its 31.15 kWh Ternary Lithium battery (with temperature control) supports a maximum range of 330 kilometers.
BYD Sealion 5 DM-i

Competing in the sub-compact SUV space, which is projected to be one of the Top 5 vehicle segments in the next five years, the BYD Sealion 5 DM-i fuses style and practically. The Sealion 5 DM-i comes with a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder engine and an electric motor that offers a combined output of 197 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque. Moreover, by combining that with a 12.9-kWh BYD Blade Battery and it offers up to 71 kilometers of all electric range whenever it’s topped up; and more than 1,000 kilometers once the gas engine’s switched on. Inside, it mixes traditional and contemporary luxury. It comes with leather seats, an 8.8-inch all-digital gauge cluster, a 10.1-inch rotating center touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and dual zone climate control with rear vents.
Hyundai Kona

In time for its third anniversary in the country, Hyundai Motor Philippines brings back the Kona and this time, it comes with a standard hybrid powertrain. Following the electrification of the Tucson, Santa Fe, and Elantra, the Kona HEV offers a peak system output of 141 horsepower and 265 Nm. This is then mated to a 6-speed dual clutch automatic with Smart Regenerative Braking and e-Motion Drive. Not only does it offer a sleek, futuristic look with the LED horizontal lamp, but because it’s designed as a “living space,” it emphasizes interior room. Technology and convenience is also put front and center with its solid list of standard features including a panoramic display cluster, power tailgate, and 8-way power adjustable driver’s seat.
MG ZS

Presenting a new cutting-edge design, the all-new ZS bears the new MG signature family look with its dual layer front face. The top part incorporates the Connected Hunter Eyes headlights with either halogen or LED illumination, while at the bottom is a prominent and confident grille. Inside, it features a heightened sense of technology courtesy of two screens. It also has automatic climate control with rear vents, a 6-way power driver’s seat, and a panoramic sunroof as available features. For the second-generation ZS, MG Philippines is offering a choice of three powertrains—a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder in both normally-aspirated and turbocharged versions, and for the first time ever, a 1.5-liter hybrid.
Hyundai Elantra N 6-speed MT

Joining the vastly expanded Elantra family which now includes a normally aspirated, turbocharged, and hybrid variants, the Elantra N can now be had with a 6-speed manual. The Elantra N, whether equipped with a manual or automatic, produce the same 5.3-second 0 to 100 kph time courtesy of a turbocharged 2.0-liter GDI engine with 280 horsepower and 392 Nm of torque. When equipped with the 6-speed manual, gives drivers complete control. Automatic rev-matching is applied during downshifts to maximize exhilaration.
Geely Okavango Elite

Geely Motor Philippines has relaunched the Okavango for 2025 as the Okavango Elite. Powering the Okavango Elite is a turbocharged 1.5-liter 3-cylinder engine supplemented by Geely’s Electric Motor Synergy system. The Elite update features a “start dust” grille pattern along with a quilted pattern for the seats and large combination screens. Most importantly, the Okavango Elite is the first Okavango model to get official recognition as a Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV). This means the Okavango Elite receives benefits such as number coding exemption and priority LTO registration.
