Surely, this incident on the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) is, well, Tweet-worthy.
Hundreds of chicks roaming across NLEX triggered heavy traffic after a truck carrying them figured in an accident Saturday.
In a Facebook post by Analin Joy de Leon, hundreds of chicks can be seen running across the expressway next to the truck near the Bocaue toll plaza while several men scoop up those that survived into plastic crates.
Unfortunately, some chicks that crossed the northbound lane of the expressway died after being ran over by incoming vehicles.
The truck was already moved to the shoulder lane at 4:46 p.m. according to NLEX.
Authorities have yet to release a statement regarding the cause of the accident.
