Bosch celebrates 100th year in PH with new lubricant lineup

Bosch unveiled their new lubricant lineup as they celebrate their 100th year here in the Philippines. The new product line has three main segments divided to cars with gasoline engines, diesel engines, and motorcycles too. Apart from their inherent high quality, the lubricants meet global standards and are their advantage against the competition.

They doubled down on synthetic oils because of their molecular structure. Mineral oils tend to have inconsistent molecules and therefore cannot give the best protection to engines. Having synthesized composition results in even molecules so that your engine has less wear on its parts.

Gasoline powered cars have the Premium X7 Fully Synthetic in 5W-30 and 5W-40. They also have the 0W-20 that’s specially formulated for gasoline-hybrid cars and start-stop engines. There’s also the Mega X6 Synthetic 10W-40 that’s more affordable but still gives strong protection against wear and friction, while maintaining the cleanliness of the engine.

SUVs have the Premium X7 Fully Synthetic Diesel Engine Oil in 5W-30 and 5W-40 viscosities while commercial vehicles have the Mega D6 Synthetic in 10W-40 variation.

Motorcycles also have something for them. There’s the Premium M7 Fully Synthetic 10W-40 for high-performance motorcycles with wet-clutch systems. Scooters have their own M7 Fully Synthetic Scooter Engine Oil 10W-40 and the Hi-Performance Scooter Gear Oil SAE 85W-90 for lubrication and wear protection of their gearing system.

All Bosch lubricants meet the current highest global standards. They have ratings from the American Petroleum Institute (API), the European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA), Japanese Automotive Standards Organization (JASO), and International Lubricants Standardization and Approval Committee (ILSAC).

The gasoline engine oils meet API SQ and ILSAC GF-7, the Mega X6 is API SP, the diesel oils for SUV meet ACEA C3, while the commercial diesel oils conform to API CK-4. The motorcycle oils conform to JASO MA2 SP and MB SP for the scooter, and GL-4 rating for the scooter gear oil.

Bosch’s lineup of lubricants are available in 1L and 4L packaging, with only the scooter gear oil in 100ml. They are available in Bosch Car Service, Bosch Modules Partner Workshops, automotive and motorcycle parts retail stores, local workshops, and their official shops in Lazada and Shopee.
