Porsche Penske wins 24 Hours of Daytona endurance race for third straight year

The winning No. 7 Porsche 963

Porsche Penske Motorsport ruled the 24 Hours of Daytona once again, claiming its third consecutive victory in the season-opening IMSA endurance classic. Considered the United States’ premier endurance race, Daytona is a true stress test, where speed must be matched by reliability, smart strategy, and mistake-free execution as teams manage traffic across multiple classes, changing conditions, and nonstop pit work.

Felipe Nasr, Julien Andlauer, and Laurin Heinrich delivered the victory in a dramatic finish

The No. 7 Porsche 963 of Felipe Nasr, Julien Andlauer, and Laurin Heinrich delivered the win in a tense, last-gasp finish, sealing victory by just 1.569 seconds after 24 hours and 705 laps (2,509.8 miles) of racing.

The result extends Porsche’s recent Daytona dominance, while Nasr also secured his third straight win at the event—an exceptionally rare achievement in the race’s long history.

Porsche Penske Motorsport’s No. 6 sister Porsche 963, driven by Kévin Estre, Laurens Vanthoor, and Matt Campbell, finished fourth overall. Customer team JDC-Miller Motorsports added to Porsche’s strong showing with a seventh-place finish in its No. 85 Porsche 963. In GTD Pro, Manthey Racing recorded the best result among six Porsche 911 GT3 R entries, finishing sixth in class.
