For years, the top of the line Everest variant has always been Titanium. It carried an upscale aesthetic that definitely resonated with a lot of users. If you wanted something more sporty or rugged, there is the Sport trim but yes, there will be a bit of compromise in features. Well, not anymore.

Ford has introduced the new Ford Everest Wildtrak as the newest top of the line trim of their flagship SUV. It combines the already familiar Everest form with the Wildtrak DNA we’ve come to love from the Ranger, to make an SUV that’s more ready for the adventurous. It will come in 4×2 and 4×4 drivetrains, sharing many similar features between them.

The Everest face has been revised to accommodate the H-bar Wildtrak signature that extends to the front bumper. This makes the Everest Wildtrak distinct from the Titanium and the rest of the Everest lineup even at first glance. There’s also Matrix LED headlights with Adaptive Front Lighting System.

On the side are 20-inch machine-face alloy wheels wrapped with 255/55 Goodyear Wrangler Territory HT tires. It has fender flares that seamlessly connect with the front and rear section for a cohesive look. You’ll also see the stand-off roof rails for easier attachment of accessories. At the back is a Wildtrak badge at the tailgate.

The cabin has the same amenities as the Titanium. There’s the iconic 12-inch portrait touchscreen, digital instrument cluster, and Everest badge on the left side of the dash. What’s different this time around is the cabin is clad in Wildtrak-exclusive Cyber Orange stitching all over. You will see it on the dashboard, steering wheel, shifter, seats, armrests, and on the doors. The Wildtrak logo was also stitched on the front seats.
Being a new top trim, the Everest Wildtrak comes with Advanced Driver-Assist System. This time, even the 4×2 version has it making it the only 4×2 in the lineup to have it. This includes Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go, Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection, Evasive Steer Assist, Lane Keeping Aid, Blind Spot Information System with Cross Traffic Alert, Reverse Brake Assist, and a 360-degree camera.
The Everest Wildtrak 4×2 is powered by a 2.0L turbo with 170 Ps and 405 Nm of torque, paired to a 6-speed automatic. The raunchier 4×4 trim has a 2.0L Bi-Turbo that puts out 210 PS and 500 Nm of torque coupled to a 10-speed automatic.
The Ford Everest Wildtrak is priced at PHP 2,379,000 for the 4×2 and PHP 2,640,000 for the 4×4. It comes in exclusive colors of Luxe Yellow (limited units), Blue Lightning, Absolute Black, Meteor Grey, and Snowflake White Pearl (additional PHP 20,000). It comes with Ford’s 5-year or 100,000 km warranty, whichever comes first.
