The motorcycle industry in the country can look forward to a more steady supply of spare parts with the recent opening of Diametral Involute (DIV-Ph) Philippines, Inc. at the First Philippine Industrial Park in Santo Tomas City, Batangas.

Established in 2024, the new firm is a subsidiary of PT. Diametral Involute from Jakarta, Indonesia which specializes in the manufacture of component machining parts, machining, hot and cold forging, heat treatment (carburizing, induction, QT), aluminum casting and ferro casting. DIV Philippines will initially import automotive and non-automotive metal components from its parent company PT Diametral Involute to supply the  local market.

DIV-Ph’s holding company is the 55-year old Tjokro Group of Indonesia which produces machine parts for the automotive, agriculture and heavy equipment industries for global export. It also supplies motorcycle components to major brands such as Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki and Kawasaki.

According to Tjokro Group CEO Kurniawan Eddy Tjokro, Diametral Involute Philippines will soon break ground for its manufacturing plant in Batangas, which is the conglomerate’s first step in expanding in the southeast Asian region.
