Yamaha Mio still leading AT in PH

Yamaha Motor Philippines, Inc. reports that since 2007, the Yamaha Mio has been the leading automatic-transmission motorcycle in the country.

In a release, the company said that “roads are now filled with Yamaha’s signature AT — Mio Sporty, Mio i125, Mio Soul i125, and Mio Aerox — representing everyone’s style and personality.”

The Yamaha AT market growth has been “remarkably outstanding for the past 12 years.” Overall, ATs account for 43 percent of the market, and Yamaha corners 62 percent of this.
