Twenty-two people were injured as a truck and sedan collided on a stretch of the Cotabato-GenSan Highway in Barangay Capiton, Datu Odin Sinusuat, Maguindanao.
The victims, some of whom are minors, were rushed to different hospitals for treatment.
Datu Odin Sinsuat municipal police personnel are still trying to determine the cause of the collision. Both ill-fated vehicles, whose drivers were also hurt, are now in police custody. — John Unson
