3 injured as SUV crashes into bank

Three people were injured after a sport utility vehicle (SUV) rammed into a bank in Marilao, Bulacan on Friday.

Initial investigation revealed that the driver, identified as former Marilao Mayor Epifanio, Guillermo, 83, was attempting to park his white Audi Q5 (NBC 8943) around 10 a.m. in front of a Banco de Oro branch along MacArthur Highway in Barangay Abangan Norte when it accidentally crashed into the bank.

Two security guards and a bank client were injured following the incident. Victims were immediately rushed to the St. Michael Family Clinic for medical treatment. – With Ramon Lazaro/STAR
