Six dead as jeepney falls into ravine

Six people died while 18 others were hurt after a jeepney fell into a ravine in Libon, Albay on Tuesday.

According to a report by The STAR, the driver, identified as Rolando Olade, reportedly lost control of the vehicle while in Barangay San Jose.

It drove off a cliff and plummeted 169 feet, according to Albay police director Col. Wilson Asueta.

The jeepney was headed to Barangay Centro Poblacion and had 30 persons on board when the accident happened.
