PNP: Non-APORs not allowed to fetch essential workers amid ECQ

While he was discussing the two major categories of Authorized Persons Outside Residence (APOR), PNP chief Gen. Guillermo Eleazar mentioned that non-APORs will not be allowed to fetch (hatid-sundo) essential workers, even for private vehicles, amid the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ).

“Napakahirap na malaman natin kung ang isang nagmamaneho ng private vehicle ay totoo na siya ay pupunta may susunduin na APOR o di kaya pauwi galing sa paghatid ng APOR,” he said.

Eleazar continued to say how public transportation will still be available at 50 percent capacity during ECQ.

There are two categories of APORS: workforce and consumer. Workforce APORs are the travel-rated essential workers who can cross borders and are not covered by the curfew.

Meanwhile, consumer APORs include the one member of the household who can get around with their quarantine passes for essential items within the quarantine hours and locality.
