Two women on a motorcycle died on the spot after crashing into a trailer truck in Tondo, Manila on Thursday.
According to the Vehicle Traffic Investigation Section, the incident occurred when the victims passed through an intersection along Jose Abad Santos into an oncoming truck. The motorcycle then collided against the right side of an Isuzu Giga 14-wheeler truck, which killed them instantly.
Investigation revealed that the motorcycle rider, identified as Ana Virginia dela Cruz, was on her way to bring her girlfriend home. 
Meanwhile, the truck driver, Roilan Ruado, is now in the custody of the Manila District Traffic Enforcement unit. Ruado is facing two counts of reckless imprudence resulting to homicide. – Ludy Bermundo
