A motorcycle rider was killed after a garbage truck rammed into his bike, along with seven other vehicles, on West Service Road in Pasay City on Sunday morning.

According to The STAR, the driver of the garbage truck lost control of the vehicle while traversing the West Service Road in Barangay 201 around 7:15 a.m.

Truck driver Wilmar Dalugdog said the incident occurred when the oversized vehicle he was driving malfunctioned, causing him to lose control of the streering wheel.
