Starting noon today, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) will suspend the implementation of the Unified Vehicular Volume Reduction Program (UVVRP) for all vehicles – including those privately owned. The agency had initially announced that only provincial buses would only be exempted from the UVVRP.

The MMDA is set to deploy 2,300 personnel around Metro Manila to assist motorists who are going to cemeteries. Meanwhile, the MMDA has warned of possible traffic jams during the weekend as the DPWH will close several roads for repairs.
