Makati lifts coding scheme for ‘Undas’

The local government of Makati has announced that the number coding scheme within the city will be suspended starting tomorrow in anticipation of the exodus of people heading to their provinces during the observation of Undas.

According to its official Twitter account, the number coding scheme will be lifted on October 31 (Thursday) and November 1 (Friday).

Meanwhile, the Makati Public Safety Department will also be implementing road closures and traffic rerouting schemes in several areas beginning on Thursday up until Saturday, November 2.

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority earlier announced the suspension of the number coding scheme on Thursday for public buses while all types of vehicles will be exempted from the traffic rule on Nov. 1 and Nov. 4.
